We have several venues in the Lake District to host your very own Climbing and/or Abseiling session! Every session is set up and led by a professional, qualified instructor - you could say we'll show you the ropes!

You can choose to have a Climbing session that includes both climbing up the rock and abseiling back down. Or, alternatively, you could choose to just have an Abseiling session. We have a wide variety of venues to accommodate either option

Whichever you prefer, we will inform you of our best location closer to the time, having taken local weather conditions into account.

This adventure requires a minimum of 2 participants to run

Groups including under 18s: For every 2 Child Participants (8+) we require 1 Adult Participant (18+)

When you come Climbing & Abseiling with us in the Lake District, we will have the following gear for you to use:

Helmet - to protect your head in any unexpected impacts against rocks, trees, or your fellow climbers!
A Harness - a support system made of straps and buckles, in which we attach a safety rope to

Every climb & abseil experience with LD Adventures is delivered by our experienced guides who take you through your adventure with fun and safety in mind!

Your guide will capture photos of your adventure, which will be sent to you free of charge following your adventure

It's important to come prepared for any adventure, so here's what you need for this one:

Suitable Clothing - harenss's can cause discomfort when in contact with skin, so trousers or leggings are advised for this activity. Additionally, it's important to dress appropriately for the weather
Grippy footwear - rock can become more difficult to climb when it's wet, so having the correct footwear will absolutely help with this; trainers or boots with a grippy sole are perfect!
Waterproofs - Climbing and Abseiling are still possible during wet weather. The rock may be wet, but let's keep ourselves dry!
