When you come Canyoning with us at Fisherplace Ghyll, we will have the following gear for you to use:

• Wetsuit - a suit of neoprene that will keep you warm as we explore the canyon​

• Buoyancy Aid - a floating jacket that will help keep you afloat in the deeper sections

• Helmet - to protect your head in any unexpected impacts against rocks, trees, or your fellow canyoneers!

• A Harness - a support system made of straps, buckles, and a seat pad for protection whilst sliding. These are needed to make abseiling possible!

Every canyon experience with LD Adventures is delivered by our experienced guides who take you through your adventure with fun and safety in mind!

It's important to come prepared for any adventure, so here's what you need for this one:

• ​Swimming costume - for underneath the wetsuit

• Full change of clothes and a towel

• Good fitting, grippy footwear - these will get wet! Old trainers or boots are great - Flip flops, crocs, and water shoes ARE NOT!

• Drinks and Snacks

• Any required medication for before, during or after the activity
